A converter, specifically a digital to analog converter, can be used to turn a digital signal into an analog signal that a none-digital TV can display. This is the easiest way to make a none-digital TV ready for the switch to DTV. The US government has setup a program to help consumers pay for the converters. See dtv.gov for more details. |
